The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department offers residents throughout the large region access to clean water and provides sewage disposal and treatment. To make a payment on your account, find your preferred method below and follow the written instructions.
Online Payments with Checking or Saving Account
To make an online payment using your checking or savings account, you can get to the web page you need and pay your bill by following these instructions:
- Navigate to the URL miamidade.gov
- Click the “Make Payments” tab in the middle of the screen
- Click the “Water Bill” link
- Place your mouse of the “Pay Your Bill” image, then select “Pay Online
- Choose Express Pay Online by clicking the “Pay Here” button below it
- Enter your account number and zip code then click “Continue”
- Verify your details and input your payment information
- Submit your payment and finalize the transaction
Online Payments with Credit Card
For online payments using a credit card, head to the Online Resources page and follow the prompts to complete your transaction.
Option 2: Pay Over the Phone
To pay your water bill from Miami-Dade County over the phone, you have the option of using your banking account information (account number and routing number) or a credit card. For those who would like to use a bank account, the number to call for phone payments is (877) 565-9300. Those who would like to make their payment using a credit card must call (877) 729-5590.

Mail Your Payment
To make a payment on your Miami-Dade water bill through the mail, you will need to prepare a personal check, cashier’s check or a money order for the amount that you would like to pay and made out to Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, then write your account number on it. Send the prepared payment to the following address:

Option 4: Make an In-person Payment
If you would like to make a payment on your Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department account using cash, the only way to do so is to pay your bill in person at a service center. Other forms of payment accepted at these locations include personal check, cashier’s check or money order. Please note that neither debit or credit cards are accepted for in-person payments and if you were planning to make a payment using a bank or credit card you will need to use one of the payments discussed above (except for mail-in payments). To set up recurring payments for your account, you will have to enroll in the ePayBill system through Miami-Dade Water & Sewer Department. To enroll, you will need your account information and your banking details.
