Bill Pay Option 2: Make a Cincinnati Bell Payment over the Phone
If you choose to make a payment on a Cincinnati Bell account over the phone, there are actually two different ways to submit your transaction when using the phone bill payment method. The difference between these two methods allows customers to choose whether they would like to make an account payment through an automated system or by receiving help from a live customer service representative. No matter which of these phone pay methods that you would like to use, you will have to call the same phone number for Cincinnati Bell, which is (513) 565-2210.
This phone number connects you to a voice-operated menu. To get to the bill payment section, when you hear the menu you will first say the word “Payments” and once the next menu starts being told to you, say the phrase “Pay My Bill”. After that, you will be walked through the payment process until you have completed your transaction.
CAUTION: If you feel as though you will need to make your Cincinnati Bell over the phone payment by speaking with one of their customer service representatives, you should be aware of the fact that making a payment through a live rep will lead to you being charged a $6 service fee, which will be attached to your bill.
Payment types accepted through phone payments are electronic check, debit card and most major credit cards. When calling to submit your payment using the automated system, the time of day or day of the week does not matter. The service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
